I have heard that even with bad credit, people still need a place to live and if you can prove you pay your rent on time, financing may not be so hard. And if you make your payments on time for a year or more you may be able to refinance at a lower interest rate, because with bad credit you won't get the best interest rate at first. It doesn't hurt to try.

Try rent to own. Try finding a mobile home owner who will provide the financing, that is, make payments to the owner rather than a bank or finance company.

If you have someone who will co-sign a loan then you would be able to get financing through a bank. You will still need to have a down payment. Some manufactured parks will sell you used homes on a rent to own basis.
