How do you make connections?

Besides being in the right place at the right time, I need to start making connections now! I'm planning ahead 10 years.

Use your alumni network. Sometimes, you can find people to talk to from fields your interested in. Also, join a organization or club...that has a field your interested in...attend their meetings and meet people. I believe they also have career networking fairs or parties that are held as well.

Are you a n a university of some type if not join one there you can find alot of connects for anything you like .
