I think it must be yes as most of their music is over 30 years old and is still for sale at prices higher than most of the music produced today, when most music from the 60's is available for £3 - £5 for an album.

Hell yeah. I'm sixteen and the Beatles are my favorite band. I got into them when I was thirteen and they've been my favorite ever since, even with the additions of such bands into my lore as U2, AC/DC, and Led Zeppelin.

Beatles are at the top and the always will be.

Are you kidding me? Beatles were THE band, anyone who does not like them has no real right to call themself a fan of any band since them. If it weren't for the Beatles, NOTHING that has been released since would have been possible.

Being 21, there are only a few songs that I know the words to, but I still have a power of respect for them. (How can you not?)

The Beatles songs are generally a lot better than any of the guff that get's stuck onto a CD these days. So the price is worth it. Plus that's the main reason for the price, the stuff's been put onto CD, when most of the original stuff was released on vinyl.

Me personally not ! never have done never will do !! I think the Beatles were and are very over- rated here in England at the time there were much better groups the Stones, the Kinks, The ANIMALS and quite a few others I think the problem is that people are scared to say they think the Beatles were Cr#p if u do have the nerve 2 voice your opinion people seem 2 take it very personally! oh and can I just say cos a song is maybe over 30 years old it has no bearing on how good it is !!!!!!!!

I wouldn't say they're my favourite band, and a lot of their work is overhyped to be honest, but I still count several of their tracks as essentials in my collection.

A pretty good band all told, four very creative guys at the centre of one of the most musically exciting times in recent history, and they tried a little of about all of it.

Dunno why their albums would still be selling so expensively though... as only two are still alive and they demonstrably have so much dosh they really don't know what to do with it.
(Well, Ringo does - chilling the hell out... Macca is going a bit bonkers between endlessly touring, having bizzaro marriages, and trying to sue Steve Jobs for silly reasons)

Yes I do. Revolver and the White Album are still worth the price. Besides, the Stones and many other bands of the era still charge and recieve that kind of money. I guess quality does matter.

the only decent album they did was revolver, however their genius was eclipsed by the Stone Roses, and before any hardcore beatles fans retaliate i would like to remind you that the beatles started out as a pop band and evolved in to the remembered state after a series of albums, whereas the stone roses were real from the beginning

Of course. They are the best, and always will be. If you think about it, almost every single band/tune that made it big since the Beatles has copied the melody and/or chord structure from a Beatles tune.

Yeah, yeah, yeah! Sorry, I couldn't help myself. Had the pleasure of seeing Sir Paul in November at the Ellen Degeneres show - he still rocks w/the best of them.
