Hmm.. Either Big Shot by Billy Joel or Goodnight Saigon by Billy Joel. Or Sometimes a Fantasy by Billy Joel.
Come to think of it, I don't know if those are 80s songs. Let's just say anything by Billy Joel, Phil Collins, or anything else previously mentioned.

It's "Come On Eileen", not Ireane or Elaine. Dexy's Midnight Runners sings it and Save Ferris covered it. Besides, there are too many good songs to pick just one.

The Headboys 'The Shape of Things to Come' (makes modern punksters seem like a bunch of amateurs). The Blue Nile 'Tinseltown in the Rain' (perfect, just perfect). Peter Gabriel 'Sledgehammer' (So clever!). Sex Pistols 'Pretty Vacant' (the raw energy). Anything at all by Michael Jackson, as he was the greatest of all of them during that period.

Well, "Dexy's Midnight Runners" sings "Come On Eileen" (and NO, I didn't need to look that up because I had bought it when it first came out!)
MY favorite 80's song would be a Duran Duran song, but there's so many to choose from.
