Me and my fiance` have been trying to concive for a little over a year now. No luck at all. My menstral cycle is normal, and when I went to the doctor everything was fine. I check my ovulation should be normal, and i've been taking prenatal vitamins for the folic acid. Any suggestions? I'm thinking of trying the ovulation pill clomid. Is that a good idea?

Did you ever think the "problem" (for lack of a better word) may not be with you - but with him? Advise him to go see his doc and get checked out and make the little swimmers are healthy and plentiful before you do anything.

Good luck!

Definitely have him checked 1st...I took Clomid and now have a beautiful 18 year old daughter. My husband and I had tried for 6 years to get pregnant. I got preg 3 months after starting the CLomid. Good luck to you.

I am in the same situation as you. We've been trying for about 14 months now with no luck. It's so stressful and heart-wrenching. My first suggestion would be to have your fiance go get a semen analysis. It's a simple procedure, and fairly inexpensive, and give you lots of answers. Once you determine whether or not he is fertile, you can go from there. Good luck!

Has your fiance' gotten tested? If everything is ok there - maybe you are trying too hard.
