As long as you don't have a personal or family history of liver problems, Kava Kava is available in tea form.

It tastes a little bit like a tree, but add the teaball into a cup with your favourite normal tea (ie: earl grey) with a little sugar and cream, and it can relax away the most stressful day.

For painkilling, take two or three naproxin sodium (that's alieve, if you like name brands) before the tea to relax tired, sore muscles. And if it's a headache, find the appropriate Excedrin. I could kiss the people who make that stuff.

Just don't drive afterward.

I believe that Camomille tea is relaxing and somewhat sedative.

But if you are taking medications, be careful, since tea has caffein, and not all herbal teas should be ingested if you are on painkiller, or antibiotic medications.

Remember, if you have pain you better find out what is causing it before you try to suppress it. Pain indicates that something is wrong in the body and you should consult a doctor or several.
Good Luck,

Willow bark or valerian root. Although valerian root tea often tastes awful if other herbs aren't used.
