if u kno u have the talent to be singing anything, then u should go with it. see how far it will take u, how do u think that all these other singers and rappers and stuff started? right where ur at, and half of them cant even sing or rap!! and if u kno u can do it, keep that confidence, b/c there are lots of people out there just waiting to stomp on someones dream, b/c they cant find there own!! good luck to u!!!

You must first sing for someone who is subjective and not family, someone who doesn't care whether they hurt your feelings or not, someone who knows something about music. If they think you have a chance as a singer, i would suggest vocal lessons, unless you are so good you don't need them, but often they help extend your range.
