Foundation and other colors need something to "hold on" to. After washing your face, apply a good quality daily moisturizer that complements your skin type. While it's still damp, apply your foundation.

If eye shadow does not hang on all day, you may need to switch to a better quality product, or apply a base cream on your eye - some women have very little oil on their eyelids and under the brow arch, and very little color stays on.

Another benefit of using a base under the makup is that it will clean very easily and will not get into your pores.

Also, if you use lipliner (same color as your lipstick, and do not apply it outside your lips) your lipstick will stay on longer. Dont touch your face too much, and dont rub. Also, if you get oily dont rub your face to get it off. Use the oil sheets to do that.
