James Naismith invented basket ball. He was Canadian, but he was in the United States when he invented it. I'm not too sure how you would consider that though.

We sure did! Also, I live in Beachville, Ontario, Canada - home of the first recorded Baseball Game. And of course there's Hockey, too! Canadians invent lots of great sports.
