dude...i got u covered...i am a 30 yr old tattoo artist that just had a baby..he is 6 months old now ..plus i babysat my lil bro (hes 15 now) constantly when he was lil....its important that u watch them ...dont walk away from them they could hurt themselves easily..especially the lil one...dont lose ur temper either..lil kids can test ur patience but if u freak out on them, that will upset them even more..u have to talk sweet and be playful and make eveything fun..if they get cranky, they r either hungry, sleepy, or need a diaper change...so if they get cranky,go down the list first... are they hungry?are they thirsty?are they sleepy?or do they need a clean diaper(for the baby).....to keep them occupied, try coloring books, reading them a story and get in to it,make funny voices while u are doing it like a cartoon or something..also ask them what their fav toy is ...or if u have dig cable, turn on "noggin" channel 207 ..its like preschool on tv and will keep them very entertained...just stay calm, stay cool,be patient and think about what its like to be that lil and how u would want to be treated...be good to them and if u have questions, call the mom or dad..they will aprreciate ur concern and respect that u want to take good care of their children...but remember, lil kids can test ur patience,so DO NOT BE MEAN ...u get more flies with honey than u do with vinegar...act like a big silly kid but be mature enough to be responsible about watching them.

While you are alone with the baby just keep him/her occupied - play with the child, feed him/her, etc. When the toddler comes home try to put the baby down for a nap so you won't get too overwhelmed.
Give the toddler a snack if he/she is hungry - but make sure to watch him eat, you don't want him choking. You can do some arts and crafts to keep the child busy - kids love to finger paint or color. You can also watch some tv - toddlers love the disney channel/nickelodean.
You can also ask the parents of the children what they usually do with the kids. They will give you some ideas of the children's schedule and what they are used to doing at home.

Trust me, you don't need any ideas for thild under 1 - they will do nothing and nothing you can do will entertain them but make faces, roll around, etc. As for the 3 or 4 year old. All you nee dis maybe a Parcheesi board, or some sort of game that's relatively easy to understand and some coloring books - they'll have a great time!

For the older child I'd suggest reading to them or maybe coloring with them. The biggest thing is to remember that the kids come first. Be sure and be attentive, don't ignore them. For the baby, remember to check often on diaper problems. No parent wants to come home and find the children wet or dirty. Plus, if you spend time doing things with the kids, your day will go quicker and happier. Hope this helps.

Take the 3 and 4 year-olds to a nearby park or play in the backyard.

have crayons and color for a while, and do this with them/
if nice outside, play ring around the rosies(hold hands sing the song and fall down-- a silly way, makes them laugh)
ask your mom what you liked to do at that age, I be she remembers.
mine is 16 and she kid sat a 8yr. they liked video games, but not this age.
they like to run and hide alot. get bubbles from walmart(open all night) they love to chase bubbles
will they be close to a park that have swings and slide.
keep them outside, it is summertime. outside games the best. tires them alot.
