Everyone has their own reasons. Maybe they think that is what you need to hear and it would hurt you more if they don't say it. Maybe they love certain things about you, but don't love you. Maybe they are just selfish and don't care if it hurst. Maybe they expect you to know they are just paying lip service and don't mean it. I agree it is wrong, but many people come up with many different rationalizations for their hurtful actions.

so many people today say it with out thinking it is just natural. i'm sure they don't mean to hurt you but they don't know what else to say to prove their affection so they say i love you. just be careful from now on and don't fall for the guy just because he says he loves you.

They are selfish people..just out there to pass time..at the expense of others..never cry for such nuts..

i think they do know it hurts....and in some way it makes them feel better about how they have been burned in love themselves...
