I would like to know why the NAFTA super highway is not being debated in Congress. The Bush administration is very quietly planning to build this highway from southern Mexico, through the states up into Canada. It will be 4 football fields wide. The ports will be closed here in the states, all the imports will come through Mexican ports. What will happen to our long shoremen jobs, and the Teamsters? More jobs being taken away from Americans. And what about the families and businesses that will be displaced by this mega highway? Is this why the government is so interested in legalizing imminate domain? This could also explain why Bush is against closing the southern border. What do you guys think?

Sounds like you just answered your own question. Our country is full of the biggest crooks in the world, and the best hidden ones. It's being allowed because there is no one to stop it. People believe that they are bound by the vote. You know, that arcaic ritual that makes them feel patriotic (well, less than 50% of them anyways) every few years? The question is, what are you and I gonna do to stop it?

In my opinion, Bush welcomes any and all immigrants to the US to incur debt so his "base" can keep propelling their balance sheets by claiming the debt incurred by the immigrants, most of which will never be recovered, as assets. As such, greedy corporations can continue to justify the dividends and other goodies bestowed upon the insiders. If the US companies do not continue to increase their accounts receivable by lending more and more money, they will post huge losses causing the US economy to collapse. The US companies can continue to issue bonds to repay previously issued bonds until the regulators begin enforcing laws enacted to prevent such abuses, or until a whistleblower exposes the ponzi scheme that is the US economy, or the ponzi scheme collapses which is a mathematical certainty.

As to whether the NAFTA superhighway project is rumor or reality, click on the link below which I encountered while surfing the net. Notice the link purports to originate from the US environmental protection agency.

Perhaps you have been misinformed.... there has been nothing noted anywhere that this is taking place. Even if it is being kept 'quiet', bloggers and citizens would be all over the net decrying such a thing.

Wow, you are informed.
Thank you for the information on the F.T.C. and the other agency. These people have dishonestly charged me in the past. I cannot give them up because they are the cheapest high-speed Internet service. We cannot win for loosing.
