I've Checked these sticks out and I could run them all but which would be best? Taking into account both Cost and actual use. I see these Timings and I wonder if they make THAT big a difference?

I want atleast 2Gb and I want it to use Games, and I dont Overclock.. yet? Hmm

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Corsair_XMS_Memory.html

Please if you could help give the name of which one and why? the Why is most important :)

Corsair 2GB DDR XMS3200PT TwinX (2x1GB) CAS3 (MY-039-CS) is what I would get.

3200 = DDR400 which is not overclocked. When it says 3500 or 4000 that is intended to be overclocked for which you pay more.

It is good to have a matched pair, at all times, although it is more crucial when you are using dual channel on your motherboard. But it is ok to use a single 2Gb stick if your motherboard supports it.

You want CL2 ( CAS Latency 2 ) for gaming

Corsair has been excellent for me in the past both on my own systems and back when I built 5 systems a day.

internet site says, 512MB DDR PC2100 RAM (2 memory slots. Max 2GB), looks like DDR. The improve ones which you talk of incorporate DDR2, they does not greater healthful the slots. the image explains it properly. appropriate component to do is seem on the Motherboard. seek introduction internet site for the specs and obstacles on that motherboard. Then get matching memory which will artwork. internet site additionally says: device memory: 2 DDR DIMM sockets help: 2.5V DDR SDRAMs (DDR400/DDR333 conditional) optimum: 2GB for DDR333, DDR400 conditional. so which you're on the surprising tack, that internet site you're wanting to purchase from has a test and verify application component, or use Belark consultant. Get the surprising mem sticks or is a waste of time, attempt and monies. the way you're speaking or stating it does no longer be good, the two get 2 1g sticks or get one 2g stick and be completed, mis matching or will nilly blending memeory sticks is by no ability a good concept from the soundness component.

wow. those are some elite ram modules you've found. really nice low latencies

i don't think there's that much of a difference between CAS2 and CAS3, so i'd go with the "Corsair 2GB DDR XMS4400 Pro TwinX (2x1GB) CAS3 (MY-101-CS)." seriously, you'll get much more out of overclocking the CPU and graphics card then you could ever get out of the memory. so don't put much effort into memory, unless you really want to pull off that extra 1-3% in speed.

if you're going for this module, then you'll want to overclock your fsb to match this memory speed, which isn't going to be easy for a motherboard that supports DDR1. good luck though.

I'd go with this one, Corsair 2GB DDR XMS3200C2PT TwinX (2x1GB) CAS2 (MY-079-CS) it seems to have the best timings out of all of them but it is fairly expensive. To tell the truth you probably won't notice any difference but it will give you that extra "edge" so to speak should you need it.
