Yes it does piss me off when Halloweens and Chrismas decorations are put out in July. You cannot find what you are looking for with all the junk in you way. As parents we are not teaching are children the values that our parents taught us. We wonder why are youth are so disrespectful and out of control. Another point I would like to make is that it disrupts ones house whole, children see these items and through hiss fits causing the parent to want to kill.

Yeah, I used to work in retail in a mall, and as much as you might hate seeing the decorations out I hated it more. The truth is that the consumers are the reason that the decorations are out. Every year I heard complaints in October about Christmas decorations being out, but they'd be buying Christmas gifts!! It's just one of those things. My mother does all her Christmas shopping over the summer, so she has time to "relax" during the holidays. And by relax I mean worry about which relatives are coming to visit, and where they're going to stay, and whether she should use the same recipe for mashed potatoes as she did last year!

Most definitely! I am totally burnt out with seeing the Halloween and Christmas decorations everywhere that when it is time for me to decorate for Christmas, ( Dec. 5-12), I am no longer in the mood. It's all for the almighty dollar in the vendors hands you know? Capitalism at it's worst!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I personally buy gifts all during the year so I have the most done before "holiday time" gets here.

yeah they go from one major holiday to the next & skip all the less publicized holidays in between. I hate that so much. You know you never see Hanukkah, Yom Kippur, Rosh Hashanah, Passover, Purim, items but you will see Independence Day crap out in April. And Right after the 4th of July crap is gone they put out Christmas and bypass everything else......sometimes even Halloween & almost always Thanksgiving Day
Also, we present Washington and Lincoln's b-days together on one day that isn't either one of there actual dates. Y do we only respect two former presidents b-day? what about all the other presidents...do they not deserve the same?

I hate that the holidays are rushed. Nothing like getting excited to celebrate a holiday and then you see the next holiday's decorations up in the stores.
I have a personal rule ~ never buy anything before the one holiday is completed. So if it is Halloween, I refuse to buy anything Christmas until after Halloween. And I refuse to buy Valentine's before Christmas and New Years.

I worked in retail for several years and the manufacturers start shipping this stuff EARLY. Now the store I worked in had no choice but to put it out on the sales floor because our stock room just wasn't large enough. It is annoying, I agree. But sometimes there just isn't any other choice.

My family individuals has already received wintry climate slippers, pyjamas and gowns. It is pretty annoying how stores start sellign holiday decorations so early. They put out Easter on Feb. 15th, and Valentines on January 1st. I don't want to buy it and store it, so don't sell it so early.
