for dating sites, i really liked match.com. most i find cost a nominal fee now a days. i met my b/f on match and we've been together a year and a half. i used many other sites, e-harmony, yahoo personals, etc, but i had the best luck with match. i do know of other people that have had luck. ya just have to be careful as with any online dating site....be choosy. i did not initially post a picture and i found it worked better. i have a friend who posted her picture and she gets BOMBARDED with winks and emails ... so annoying!! not posting a pic allows you to kindof talk and get to know the person for a bit first. good luck!!

BIG question! For dating, try a Google or Yahoo search with YOUR input: whether you are in a special group like country western singles, based on religion, personal beliefs, etc, etc. Choose wisely, Grasshopper, these can be pricey and look for free trials before you invest in membership since FEW have good refund policies. I cannot say which are the safest for dating, this is up to you!

It's sad but anything that charges a fee..... that way only serious people are on there looking for relationships and not flings.
My bestfriend actually met her husband on Match.com.... you can normally get a free trial to try it out.
Stay way from myspace and friendster.com; mostly players and perverts!
Good luck.

I met my husband on www.eharmony.com... but I didn't start out there. I used match.com and yahoo.com for awhile and didn't switch to eharmony until I had done some dating and really knew what I was after.

If you're serious about finding your mate for life try eharmony.com. I've heard only good things about them.
