Child support is child support. Married or not has nothing to do with a man taking care of a child he helped conceive.

I certainly hope you aren't the other woman that just came into the picture and making excuses for a sorry azz man as to why he don't pay child support. It's sad..some women if that's the case. Get with these dead beat dads knowing the situation, end up pregnant by these dead beats, then surprised when they do the same thing to them. Does it really have to take that much before so of you get the picture?

Tell you man..to pay the child support he owes.. And for you..Run! Providing that's the case!

again ..all are correct...being married...divorced whatever has no reflection on child support...if the parents are listed on the birth certificate ...that is all you need for who is to pay for child support...if your divorced...the divorce degree should stipulate the amount...doesnt matter about anything else as long as the judge has stated that X pays this amount.

if X does not pay child support ..then you have to be the one to seek an attorney and file again...for back child support...and can cost some money ..but worth it in the long run.

good luck

Go to your local CHILD SUPPORT ENFORCEMENT AGENCY> married or not married youboth have a responsibility to the child. The fact that you lied if it comes out will be up to a judge. Why would you lie when you would run the risk of losing your children. Try an attorney to see what might happen to you. DON"T USE YOUR CHILDREN. Don't put them in a tug of war game between you and your ex. Good Luck

Claiming to be or not to be married is irrelevant. The court would see them as married because it was consummated with marital relations. The bottom line is that there was a child born in the relationship and the parent(s) need to take responsibility whether it is monetarily or otherwise.

child support has nothing to do with being married...as long as the father says that they are his kids then it wont matter...but you should always be honest with the courts if you feel bad just tell them that it was a typo that you found and want to correct...if the courts find out and you say nothing you could get into trouble honesty is always the best policy

Marriage has nothing to do with child support. All that matters is who the parents are.

Each parent is responsible for child support regardless if you're married or not.

why would you claim never married in the 1st place? Lying in court is perjury anytime anywhere.
