Why don't you girls/Ladies wear stockings? they are far more sexy than tights. Tights are so uglys. A law should be passed banning tights, bring back stockings and sussies

I do, and I agree they are way more sexy than tights, and enormously more comfortable. I wear them to work every day with a garter belt, because they are so much more comfortable than hold ups or pantyhose. I am 21, and more and more girls my age are wearing stockings, and leaving pantyhose to the older ladies who need them.

Well I'm in High School, but work in an office every afternoon after school and I wear stockings and a garter every day. Nobody my age wears pantyhose, they are for old ladies.

A lot of my classmates wear hold ups, but I prefer the regular stocking that you wear with a garter belt, because they are a little sheerer, and I like the feeling better. the elastic on the top of the others bother me.

All the guys I know will agree with you about the sexy part, they all go a little nuts when the girls wear stockings, cuz the cheerleaders and their bare legs go begging, when me and my friends, come around wearing our stockings.

I always wear stockings and a garter (suspender) belt. I work as a professional sales rep, and mus dress as sharp as my male counterparts. there are no decent pantyhose in the US, and a few in Europe like Pretty Polly, and Aristoc, but I don't like my bum all covered up,so I wear stockings to work everyday.

The stockings available are much more sophisticated than any tights I have ever found, and I can wear my own matching underwear. I wear a garterbelt wity 6 short straps, and a size longer stockings, so they come so high they never show under my taylored skirts. They are super comfortable all day long, if you get the right fit.

This business that you can't wear stockings with short skirts is nonsence. Just wear them longer and hitch them up higher. I like the feeling of the tighter straps on my bum anyway.

Oh Sua! Your request is so charmingly persuasive that am going to throw away all my tights right now ;-)

Seriously, the reason so many of us don't get around to wearing stockings is that tights are warmer in winter and there's no point in wearing either when it's hot in the summer. And what difference does it make anyway? People don't have x-ray eyes and, even if they did, it wouldn't matter. Thankfully, there's no reason why anyone should have to be sexy from head to toe, 24 hours a day.

Hotstuff: You were wondering where the women who say they never wear hose work. They're probably in jobs where they don't have to answer to anyone with regard to what they wear. One example would be someone who is independently employed (eg: as an artist working in her own studio). Another would be a woman who has her own office (eg: as an academic or researcher at a university). Other women who are not encumbered by conservative dressing standards are those who work in offices or establishments whose dress codes have moved into the 21st century. They can wear trousers and socks rather than skirts and hoisery. (Men, sadly, haven't been equally liberated in terms of clothing but that's another issue!)

I agree, pantyhose are so ugly, that they are the main reason for the start of the bare leg, no nylons look here in the US, which I think is super tacky when wearing heels and business clothes. I always wear my stockings when dressed in akirts and heels, and sometimes with trousers and heels. I wear the Ultra Sheer no stretch 100% nylon style that is only made now in England and France.

Nobody my age wears pantyhose any more, they are so old lady looking. We wear stockings, either hold ups, or the really sheer ones you need a garter belt to hold them up.

Stockings are very sexy and way more comfortable. I go to school, and work as a secretary right after school, so it is a long day, and the stockings are so much more comfortable. Pantyhose make your bottom sweat and cause female problems if you wear them too long.

I don't think that they have had a good experience with them. I wear them quite regularly now, but I used to be afraid of them until coaxed by a bf to wear them . Lucky for me he was patient, and gave me quite a few styles of garter belts and stockings to try.

They are a lot like jeans, you need to try out a few, before you find which fit your body and style best. I think most women have got one scratchy Lacey garter belt, and some horrible stockings, not much better than pantyhose, and that is their only experience. Luckily, I have a girlfriend, who wears them, and when I complained that th ones i had been given seemed uncomfortable she came over and showed me all the tricks.

For one the better stockings come in sizes, and they are way more comfortable long, than short. To do that you may have to shorten the garter straps on the belt yourself. Most are too long for women under 5'8".

A little mystery can go a long ways! Plus they are more comfortable and always look hot with mini skirts where stocking can often look cheap. Don't shoot the messenger... Just the facts!

Stay up stockings are the best. Suspender belts are awful to wear and look terrible unless you have a firm, young tummy. Some women even wear tights under trousers - how mingingly BAD is that? They must be well fermented. Ladies don't do it....
French knickers and lace top stay ups (hold ups) are divine. And hubby loves it....
If hard to get in USA, maybe that's how I'll make a million........

I agree, pantyhose are ugly, that is why I always wear stockings and a garterbelt . I wear them to work everyday, and also when I go out. they are so comfortable and so hot looking, I always get a million compliments on my legs. Plus, you don't have to do the "pantyhose dance" everytime you go to the bathroom. The stockings stay right where they are, and you can pee with no muss, no fuss.

Lots of people in the US are going bare legged because of the hatred of pantyhose, but a lot of us younger giirls with good jobs are wearing stockings to work, and for play too. The guys love them, cuz they don't even have to come off for great sex..

I don't typically wear either one. Stockings are a PITA because they tear so easily. It's easier to go without. And in the summer, it's cooler.

Tights keep you warmer in the winter. But In the winter when it's cold I usually wear jeans.

Just because YOU don't prefer something doesn't mean a law should be passed against it -- it's simply a matter of personal preference.
