No, it's still a represenative republic with a great deal of seperation between church and state. Sometimes it's just hard to tell.

It's more like an oligarchy. A few people hold all the power, while the rest of us slave about. And I agree it's moving towards a theocracy with all the Intelligent Design stuff and "God told me in my dream to attack Iraq". That part is very very close to a theocratic statement.

Methinks auraustin is either blind, or is behind times in respect to current events or a plain moron. Almost every question he asked can be answered affirmatively.
Are you forced to worship a particular god?
Well duh! What is this I hear about Christianity all the time.. intelligent design, abortion, gay marriage, qutong the bible. I don't hear "oh zarathrusta said this" or "confucius said this" or "buddha said this". Its ******* always "the bible says this". So yeah the government IS trying to impose a religion on all of us. If you don't understand logic go eat a dick, moron.

Are you persecuted if you are of a different faith?
Well duh! If you have a muslim name, see what happens. Heck don't have a muslim name, just have dark skin and see what happens. Or don't have a muslim name, just have a friend with a muslim name and even then your phone will be wiretapped.

Do our soldiers go fight in the name of the religion and bathe in the blood of infidels?
Well duh! American soldiers burning the Koran, killing civilian women and children. Ann Coulter proclaiming that we should just kill them or convert them to Christianity. Bush claiming that god told him to fight this war.

How do you argue with a Republican? They don't follow logic. Even if you cite a genuine veritable source of your information they consider the source spurious. But they want factual proof. But when you show them the facts they won't accept the proof!!
So how DO you argue with a republican? With a baseball bat?

Is the government forcing you to worship or follow one particular belief?

Are you required to pray at certain times a day, and go to worship service on a specific day?

Are the soldiers being trained to wage holy war in the name of "insert name for god here", and to bathe in the blood of the infidels?

Have all other opposing or alternate faith groups, and religions been outlawed?

Has possessing a religious book of another religion or faith been outlawed?

No they haven't now quit posting questions like this that are bound to get torn apart by the American loving people who post here.

Not in any way, shape, or form. For the U.S. to be a theocracy, we must put God ahead of everything else, and have religion be the law of the land.
