dogs mouths are alot cleaner than a humans, whats gross about it, yea they lick their butts and crotches but the last time i checked people lick crotches and they arent even THEIR own!!! So why dont you ponder on that one people, before you go saying how gross it is to kiss your dogs think about the germs your putting in your mouth when you have relations with your boy or girl friend. hmmmm... you may say worms, well guess what, people get and have worms too, yes you can get worms from your pet but you can get worms from the FOOD AND WATER you take in as well. 85% of people have worms from one cause or another. check out the web site below.

I am American and I do not kiss my pets on the mouth. They lick their azz with that mouth.
I have friends who I have seen do these same disgusting things you speak of......letting their dog eat off their fork, lick them in the mouth, kiss them all over.....it's nasty.
I think these are people who have a sick fascination with animals. They think they are babies and are human like. A lot of these people don't have children.
These people will argue that a dogs mouth is cleaner than a humans....this is false. I have seen doctors on TV who don't know where this information came from but it is simply not true.

Well, in America, most people treat their pets like family. They love their pets just as much as they love their children.
Now, about the sanitary aspect. Yes, it is true that there are a lot of germs in a dog's mouth. However, when you think of an adolescent who chews on things are proned to get the same germs.

This American things is gross too, however, I do beleive their mouths are cleaner, I still wont do it. Maybe if I were dying of an infection out in the woods and couldnt get medical treatment, I'd let my dog lick the wound. But I'm not letting them lick me in the face and I certainly do not share food with them.

No it's not disgusting, and to be honest, a dog or cats saliva is much more sanitary than a humans. We certainly don't complain about kissing others on the mouth, so why not pets?

A dog's mouth has less germs and bacteria than that of a human. Get over yourself.

Yep, it's disgusting. But it's no worse than touching a door knob. Some people let their animals do that because they think it's cute, while others probably don't get enough physical interaction with humans.
