I'm starting a new job soon at a graphics company but I will be in production instead of designing. I want to design and I have experience designing. I feel this is a way to get my foot in the door and maybe eventually move up. Does anyone have any tips to help me get ahead?

The best way to move up is to keep your nose clean, don't be a brown noser and do all the company and more it wants you to do. Be there before the time you have to check in, usually about 15 minutes and always ask if you can be of some help in the company besides what you are assigned to do. Always put yourself out there to help in all things. Be AVAILABLE!!!!
