Well, when I need to be cheered up I like to have a sensitive back rub or massaged be kissed or touched. Go for a walk or bike ride and get some excersize. Just lay in bed and not be bothered. Talk to a good friend. go to your favorite place and hang out for a few hours.Go people watching at the mall and think about how their lives are and compare them to yours. Everyone feels blue now and again so it will pass and soon they will be feeling better.

I think just by being there for the person and sharing good memories will work. Weather this person is a boyfriend or a girlfriend. It's always worked for me. Then again so does a pint of chunky chocolate ice. cream

Send them a small gift, card, or flowers without letting them know who it is from. I will do this and send a kind note...signed 'from a friend'. It has always worked so far.

Give them a BIG hug for about 20 seconds and then with a huge smile on your face look them in the eyes and say with feeling "touching's good"! If this doesn't work nothing will. It's been said that it raises endorphins...
Hope your friend feels better! ^_^

You can throw a little party or get together. Also, you can bake them a dessert or cake or something they like. Also, you can tell them funny stories about things that happened to you. Or you could do a play for them to show how much you care. Another thing you could do is give them a present or make them one. My friends love it when I give them a present cause they know how much I care. Hopefully one of these will work!

When someone is down, the best way to pick them up is to get them out and about. People stay cooped up when they are down. They hide in a corner and enjoy their gloom. Get them up, out and let them see the day. What do they like to do? Whatever it is...do it with them.
