i just don't know where to find a company that can produce them. also, are sunglasses the type of product you would cast from a mold? i have done jewelry casting in college, so i'm somewhat familiar with the process -- different material though. anyone have any experience with getting their products made?

I would think so for the frames of the sun glasses. I'd try to make a pair your self and then take it to a big company. To make sure that your design is safe, get it copyrighted. This could be a simple as mailing yourself a copy of the designs. Make several pairs of the sun glasses, and be persistent if you truly believe in them. If not, then sell them on the street. You would want to get noticed by someone big or important. Also, invest in some business cards. If people like your sun glasses, then they would want to know who you are. And if not then you and some friends have some more sun glasses.
