You can buy the metal soap bars in most supermarkets. They are supposed to get rid of onion odours from the hands so I would think one of them could work - Good Luck hope the job goes well

I worked in a fish department of a supermarket years ago. The ONLY thing that worked was fresh lemon.

If you can wear gloves, I recommend Diamond Grip Latex, that will minimize your stinky smell. LEMONS and hot water otherwise. also when you wash your clothes, add some lemon juice or else you clothes ain't gonna come out smelling quite right!

this is going to sound strange but washing your hands with a little dish washing soap and a stainless steel utensil...such as a spoon usually does the trick......try it you'll be amazed!

Antibacterial hand wash by Dettol, or if you can get it try Avon antibacterial hand gel.
But go for the hand wash first.
