Also, do u think that reality tv programmes such as these are putting young people of getting a proper eduacation and a respectable job, as Big Brother supposedly provides an easy way to fame and fortune?

I dont think they are - I think BB is quite educational in some respects as it shows behavioural patterns and how these affect other people. I think that for some they do see it as a way to fame and fortune but as the years go on it is proving to people that this is short lived. I think the youth of today are more clued up that we give them credit for. I personally would love to go on BB but not for the fame/fortune in fact that is the off putting bit! I would just love to experience it, I know the idea of it all seems boring being locked in a house etc but I think it would be a valuable experience and a kind of mini era!!!

No way! I think they just choose people they feel will be eccentric and amuse us all, it doesn't matter that they might leave the person emotionally disturbed afterwards. Maybe if you had a tough neck and were really stuck for money but money or fame doesn't substitute your sanity.

I think it would be fun to be on that show. I could do with some fame and fortune.

It would be absolutely horrible. Ego City. With regard to your second question, I think the whole 'celebrity' thing has gone mad, and a great deal of 14 year old girls aim to be 'famous'. What does that mean these days?
