You obviously dont know much about eating out in Detroit

I am looking for gems that make Detroit special.

Dont pretend that Detroit is New York or Paris.

Its the Motor City - coney islands, fried chicken, eastern market, etc.

Whats good for dining out. Doesnt have to be "fancy"

Pizzapapolis in Greektown is pretty awesome - okay the other restaurants in Greektown are okay too. There's Dave & Busters in Utica, Monterrey's in Royal Oak, and those two guys who sell peanuts on gameday by Comerica Park.

I'm not a native Detroiter, but I like Traffic Jam. They have a brewery and bakery right there, and everything tastes very homemade and hearty.
