You could be having a miscarriage. Call your OB/GYN now.

Sometimes women continue to have periods during pregnancy, but you need to be checked out.

I hope everything is ok - good luck!

I won't say it normal for you, because I am not a doctor. But I do know that some women still experience periods when they are pregnant. This happens because some women release more than one egg a month, so they still experience a period. You should consult with your doctor asap to make sure that it is your period and not something else. I'm not trying to scare you, but a lot of interesting things happens to a woman's body when she becomes pregnant! Good luck! :-)

When I was pregnant with each of my children I had some bleeding. It can be normal to have bleeding or spotting when pregnant. I do know some people that have bled their whole pregnancy. Having said that, I really do think that you should have your doctor check you out just to be sure. You really don't want to take any chances with your baby. Sometimes bleeding is a sign of miscarriage or other problems in the pregnancy. It is better to be safe then sorry.

Good luck!

Call your doctor right now. I was 5 weeks and started my period (with cramps). It turned out I had a chemical pregnancy. That is a very early miscarriage. They are extremely common. But you need to go to the Dr. just to be sure. I don't want to scare you but you should get medical attention. Good Luck!

Call your OB/GYN as soon as possible. I know this from experience. I was about 5-6 weeks along when i started bleeding very lightly. about 2-3 weeks later i had a miscarriage. I think (the Dr. wouldn't tell me for sure) that it was because i have a negative blood type and my husband has a positive type and my body was attacking my baby thinking it was a invader. I hope for the best for you.

It could be normal. Is there any cramping associated with it? Like abnormal cramping. Some women have their periods all throughout their pregnancy. If you're real worried call your doctor and ask them or go in and see them. Listen to your instincts...You know your body better than anyone.

you may be having bleeding from implantation, which is ok as long as it is not really really heavy. The blood will most likely be darker and brownish, and this is good, cuz it means that it is old blood. Also, I got this which is wierd- I had a slight period every month for a while until my body got used to all the different hormones going on. so your body might jsut need to adjust to being pregnant :)

It's very normal, but if it gets really heavy and you start cramping call your doctor or go to the ER, that's a sign of a miscarriage... also go see your doctor anyway just to make sure you and baby are ok. Congrats!

the periods stop during pregnancy because the levels of estrogen & pregestrone (2 hormones) are maintained high. As long as their levels are up, the menstruation will not take place. It may have to do some thing with your hormonal level. Its better to check up which ur Gynecologist ASAP :)

take care :)

It could be nothing, but it's better to be safe than sorry. Call the doctor and then you'll have some peace of mind.
