you may be having pain from implantation, and slight bleeding is ok as long as it is not really really heavy. The blood will most likely be darker and brownish, and this is good, cuz it means that it is old blood. Also, I got this which is wierd- I had a slight period every month for a while until my body got used to all the different hormones going on. so your body might jsut need to adjust to being pregnant :)

I have had 5 children all girls. You need to call a nurse kaiser has a nurse line. if not make appt at a clinic or if you feel real bad sharp pains to to the emergency. Feeling tired is normal. Are you taking prenatal pills? Those have the nutrients that you need for your baby and you. I took these those pills all the time and you feel a whole lot better. Is this your first baby? I have 2 grandaughter and a grandson now. So my daughter have had their baby and have also miscarriaged so I know different things concerning both events. But a professional is a whole lot better.

the spotting could be from the egg implanting in your uterus. the cramps (i got them, too) is most likely your uterus shifting to make room for it to expand. it also may be due to your uterus starting to stretch.

even though you are only 5 weeks, i would call to schedule your first prenatal visit around 8-10 wks and when you call leave a message to the doctor about these symptoms and if they are concerned they'll have you come in sooner!

hang in there, it's just starting!! oh, yeah, and the fatigue....that's the WORST!!! i decided to cut all caffeine out fo my diet when i got pregnant and the faigue killed me. it gets soo much better once you hit your second trimester (for me it did), so hang in there!

take care.

Any bleeding and/or cramps should be reported to the doctor. Bleeding is not a good sign in pregnancy and you should get to the doctor as soon as possible.

If it wasn't heavy bleeding I wouldn't worry about it. If you get heavy bleeding then you should go to the doctor or hospital. It could have been implantation bleeding. Just keep an eye on it.
Congratulations!

Keep an eye on it. I had that happen when I mischarge, don't freak out however cuz some women get that during their pregnancy. Just keep an eye on it.
