Body cream is thicker than lotion, and was deliberately created for those rough patches, like elbow, knees, and heels. Body cream is designed to soothe the driest areas of our skin.

A Body Lotion is simply a lotion for the body, a body cream is like a thicker richer version of lotion. Many times they contain different ingredients which explains the difference in textures and results that it gives you. Body cream for the most part is more moisturizing to the skin. However, some people do not like the texture and prefer to use lotion because of its thinner texture. Body cream generally last longer on the skin and you should experience less dryness, typically it would take more lotion to achieve what a body cream can give you in a small amount.

Body creams are thicker than lotions. Both are used on your body but lotions can be used daily on any part of your body. Creams are good to use after you take a bath. They usually have more moisturizer in them and is soaked into your skin easiest when you skin has been softened by water. If you don't use cream right it tends to feel greasy.

although they might appear same but body lotion are specialized cream that is use for particularly some purpose like prevent you skin from sun from water ect. while creams just moisturize your skin thats all
