What correction should be made to the following sentence? "For parents, it is a challenge to recognize and keep a balanced perspective on they're teenager's emotional roller coaster ride."

They're is an abbreviation of they are
Their means belonging to them!

If you want to get really technical, the word teenager's should have the apostrphe after the s too. The sentence reads as if you are talking about more than one teenager!!

Is this a trick question or do you really not know the answer? I saw it without looking at the choices, and you should see it too. i'm not going to give you the answer because this is elementary school stuff. My 5th grader would have caught on.

C. They're in the original sentence means they are, which makes no sense. Their is possessive and therefore makes sense.
