my lips keep cracking faster than i can put lip balm on them. this is really annoying!!!

You can try putting Neutrogena concentrated hand cream on your lips first, then apply Chapstik brand medicated over that layer. Sleep with this on overnight especially and use during the day too, until Chapstik medicated works by itself. This is what I did when I had braces that tore my mouth up. It was the only thing that worked. Even Carmex did not work for me!

Don't lick them, that just makes them worst. Try using Carmex, it's the only lip balm that really seems to work for me.

burts bees is the greatest lip balm!
the body shop also has good stuff .. if you're willing to fork out $10 for lip balm.
my all time favorite though is avon's moisture therapy - 99c!!!

try a light exfoliating face wash. put some Vaseline on them over night. it is thick and will feel gross but it shouldn't rub or wear off while you are asleep. plus it helps for dryness.

Also, I exfoliate mine by getting them a little moist and rubbing them. You'll need to let them heal a little first.

drink more water and put on the chapstick right away, it should help lock in the moisture. i had the same problem and this method worked for me
