Example of timely death, Mark Twain born 1835 yr of Hallye's comet, Comet returned in 1910,and on April 21st of that year he died. He often stated he came into the world with the comet and he would go out with it as well. In fairness to all of you can you think of any more examples of this type of timely death?

Whenever the long appeals process is over and a pychotic multiple murdered is put to death, I say to myself, "Well, it's about time." Does that count as a timely death?

Those people who are drowning in debt, who have a rich unknown, estranged uncle that dies, leaving them enough money to escape their debt....they probably think of that death as pretty timely.

To be perfectly honest, your question is kind of stupid. But, on the other hand, makes a little sense, like an oxymoron. There is no such thing as a "timely" death really, unless it is from old age. Mostly it is meant for people or children who died "before their time", which again is ridiculous because no one really knows how much time we are allowed on this earth.

Natural deaths, such as a 97 year old grandfather, would certainly fall into the classification of "timely," I would think. We don't hear anything special of them because they are part of the game. When a young person dies, by accident, illness, etc., that is outside the bounds of what is thought of as "natural," and we then speak of untimely death.

Yep, If they say you have 2 years to live and you die in 2 years it was a timely death.
