A bruise or contusion or ecchymosis is a kind of injury, usually caused by blunt impact, in which the capillaries are damaged, allowing blood to seep into the surrounding tissue. They often induce pain but are not normally dangerous. Sometimes, however, bruises can be serious, leading to hematoma, or can be associated with serious injuries, including fractures and internal bleeding. Minor bruises are easily recognized by their characteristic blue or purple color in the days following the injury.

Also, some people bruise more easily than others. A deficiency in Vitamin C can make a person more susceptible to bruises

Ouch! Be careful. Although I bruise easily too and have more of those on my legs.

A bruise occurs when a blow to the epidermis layer of the skin causes internal bleeding of the tissues that lie within the dermal layer of our integument. At first, the bruise appear deep blue or purple becasue the blood has not begun to dry off in scabs yet. Later, as the bruise changes color, it is a clear indication that the tissues are healing and the internal wound is too. Little by little, the discoloration becomes less and less, green and then yellow and then gone.

As for the reason why some individuals bruise more easier than others, there are several causes. Among the more recognized causes are diabetes. So you might want to go to the health clinic and make sure that it isnt diabetes, hypoglycemia etc.

Drink plenty of water and eat healthy. The healthier you keep your body, the more efficient it will become while trying to function as it should.

Have fun playing football, and don't let the other team catch up! Haha, ugh ugh ugh ugh! Whoooohoooooooo, TOUCHDOWN BABY!

Bruise in your skin is due to the burst of catepillar bloodline (tiny bloodstream that's underneath your skin) and spread of blood that resides between your skin and your muscles.

Mostly this is due to body impact either by other people or objects. The good news is that it goes away in a while when your body re-absorb it back into your body and get it out of your system either by sweat or urine.

The coloring of the bruise shows how serious the injury is. Usually if its greenish or purple, blue, it means your body is slowly absorbing it and re-generating new catepillar blood vessle.

The darker the color, the severe the injury is and takes more time to heal.

However, if its black it means the blood has dry out and the body is having difficulty absorbing the blood since it has solidified. Usually there are lotion or medicine that you can apply to the bruise area with continue massage to help the body heal. You should see it begin to change to lighter color, and eventually comes back to normal skin color.

If your body is easily bruise, it just means your body isn't build to take the rough condition you put youself under. However human body is very adaptive to its environment. By continue to engage in whatever sport you choose to, your body will gradually strengthen the blood vessle and the muscular system to take more beating.

It shouldn't take more than a month or two to see some good improvement in your body shape, and alot less bruise if keep up the sports on a regular basis

Just make sure you're taking in enough water and nutrient to sustain your body, everything else will come in naturally.

bruise is also called a contusion, and it forms because the soft tissues of your body have been bumped

When these soft tissues are injured, small veins and capillaries (the tiniest blood vessels) under the skin sometimes break. Red blood cells leak out of these blood vessels. These red blood cells that collect under your skin cause that bluish, purplish, reddish, or blackish mark. That's where black-and-blue marks get their name - from their color under the skin.

Bruises go through colorful changes as the body begins to heal itself. The color changes mean that your body is metabolizing
or breaking down, the blood cells in the skin. This is the chemical process that your body goes through to repair itself.

Bruises are normal, especially if you have been playing football. If you hit an area too hard, the blood vessels get damaged, and cause a bruise. However, they clear up pretty fast.

a bruise is a blood clot under your skin. I'm not sure about what you could eat to bruise less, but watch out with the really dark ones. It can be dangerous if they stay too long.

A bruise is simply bleeding into or under the skin. Dark green leafy vegetables contribute to blood not clotting very quickly as well as aspirin use.

take iron pills and get some coQ10 lotion use it 3-4 times a day it helps heal the bruise faster than letting it heal by it self if it normally takes a couple weeks to heal, using the lotion will cut the healing time in half

It's available in health food stores, or vitamin shops
