You need to keep a calendar so you can try to know when it is going to come so you can be prepared. Otherwise you will have an accident you can do nothing about. It is important to know your schedule and be prepared. If not, always bring a purse with you to school. No one will know and you will be prepared every day.

The best thing to do when you start menstruating is you already know that it will come once a month, so if you have a locker at school, buy some pads and/or tampons and always keep a couple in your locker.
Nowadays, they also have little boxes and containers that can discreetly hold those items,or you can even use a make up bag to store them. You can buy them at the drugstore or you can also carry them in your purse or backpack.

Go to your School Nurse or First Aid office and get professional help for that. Some times periods are taken for granted and a woman can lose a lot of red blood cells and that is not good. Make sure it is your period we are talking about here and not a miscarriage or rupture.

Go to the bathroom, and if there isnt a little machine that you put quarters in to get a tampon, then use tissues. But you should alwayz just bring at least a panty liner or something. Oh and thats why you should have a purse, put pads/tampons in it, and keep it near you or in your locker and then go to the restroom and always bring it ther.
Good luck

If you think it is about time for that to start.
Go to the store and get you some female
products (best to star out with the pads)
And keep them in your purse or locker.
That way you don't have to worry about going to the school nurse and you can take care of that yourself.
Keep extra undies in your gym locker too.
WELCOME TO WOMAN HOOD!

Always have a few pads or tampons with you. Sometimes periods come unexpectedly. If you know you have started excuse yourself from whatever is going on. If you have a teacher who normally does not let kids go to the restroom, take him/her aside, look her in the eyes and say "This is a case where I have to go to the restroom, if you get my meaning."

Tell your teacher and then cover your behind with your jacket or hands, er something. tell your teacher you have personal buisness and you need to go to the nurse, if she asks what it is just tell her the truth she'll understand. The nurse will help you and you'll get to call your mom and your mom will take you home or bring you clothes. Hope it helps.

Always carry pads and be prepared. You shouldn't have to go to the nurse's office for that. It only takes a small space in your backpack and it's better safe than sorry. If one day you forget, ask another girl. They are females too and go to them to ask, but it would get annoying and you will feel dependent onm them when you can carry them yourself.

The bathrooms usually have some. If it happens during class say you have to go to the bathroom, you feel sick(stomach ache, might throw up) or you have a headache and you need to get aspirin out of your bag/locker.
