Hey, I'm from Boston, so no bias, but the Red Sox have a pretty solid team this year. A few problems in pitching, but they have been able to get by. The defense and offense on the otherhand are no problems for this team. The Tigers, White Sox, and Texas all also look good to make the WS from the AL. The Cards, Mets, and any of the three Cali teams from the NL look good. I do believe the AL will prevail.

It will be an all New York, World Series This year, with the Yankees and the Mets. There both in first place, and looking great. That's why there going the the World Series this year.

The Mets are the best team in the National league. Followed by the St. Louis. This year the national league is very weak and it show up again this weekend in the inter league play. The best five teams are all in the AL. This year will be a battle between the two big cities--New York Mets and the Chgo White Sox.
If I had my pick it would be the Cubs/Red Sox.

I believe we will see the Chicago Whitesox and the St. Louis Cardinals in the series. The Mets inexperience will catch up with them sooner or later, and the same goes for Detroit. I am a Mets fan so I want to see the Subway Series again though, this time us beating the Yanks in 5.

As a Yankee fan, I can't count the Bombers out for the American League no matter how bad they may seem at times.
After the Mets win the first National League East pennant from Atlanta, they're a shoe-in for the NL.
Count on a Subway Series 2006.
