You usually cannot get accurate results until nearly a month after conception (using standard over the counter tests). Most tests indicate that you will be able to tell if you are pregnant up to 5 days after missed cycle.

In my opinion, 3 days is really early unless you are using some super specialized test.
From what I know, the longer the time the better the test reads.

Its not three days is MUCH too early to determine whether or not you are pregnant.
Lets just say you were to get pregnant...after three days the sperm would just barely be making it to the egg at that point. It takes those little guys a few days to get where they need to be to fertilize the egg!
Then you have to develop enough of the pregnancy hormone for it to show up on a pregnancy test. It usually takes at least three or four weeks.

You have to wait at least 2 weeks after sex to take a test. Otherwise you wasted your money. You are probably pregnant because it won't show positive after 3 days.

A test for what?? Pregnancy?? It takes alot longer then 3 days to show up on a pregnancy test...if its a test for HIV it will take longer too...I think you should really find out more about sex and what happens after before you keep having it.

The process of the sperm swimming to the egg and fertilizing it can take a few days. Even after fertilization it will take a while for a woman to create hcg a hormone produced that shows pregnancy. For a more accurate reading you should wait until a few days before or the day that your period is dude. I wish you luck.

It takes at least two weeks for at home pregnancy tests to show accurate results, and even then, they can be wrong. Usually one month is the best time, but by then you'll probably have missed a period.

Your suppose to wait until you miss a period anyway, also after 3 days the hormone hcg wont be present.

Try again about a week and a half after you've had it :) That will be much more accurate than 3 days.
