Ms. Sheila, are you healthy? Is your blood pressure and cholesterol low? Are you active? Can you run up a flight of stairs without getting winded? Do you feel attractive both dressed and undressed? If you answered yes--and no being absurdly hard on yourself--you're fine. Some girls your height are much thinner--lucky them!--but your goals should be health and happiness and not fighting a losing war againts your genetic make up. If you want to drop a few pounds, please just try exercise and replacing fast food with fruits and vegentables at a few meals. Do not obsess!

Dont want to sound rude but I dont think so
Even if you have a stocky frame , 5 , 2 is not tall so over 9 stone is a bit too much
7-8 is the most you should be

Height to weight ratio is irrelevant - we are all built differently. One of the more reliable methods to check you are in a healthy range is body fat percentage. The healthy range varies with age but I think it's about 22-32% for normal girlies, athletes will obviously have less. (body mass index is a popular benchmark but doesn't take body composition into account).
Too much emphasis is put on being skinny, there are far more important factors to your general health. I'm 5' 4" and at my fittest (swimming, running, playing sport for 2hrs every day) I was still 10st 4lb. Who cares - I felt great!
Eat a balanced diet, exercise and feel good about yourself - you're beautiful.

Hi sheila, your weight is OK for your height and your age has got nothing to do with it, as long as you feel happy in yourself, that is all that counts, there are to many skinny people about & to many obese ones as well, sounds as tho you dont fit either of those catagories

No, you're a bit overweight.
I'm 5,3 and 8 stone 4 pounds and I think I could do with losing a bit! If you're happy then, fine!
