full, people know exactly what you are saying then because a lot of people sometimes don't understand the shortened versions of words. It is also our language that we are ruining by making it easier, no wonder kids can't spell these days, it's because they're getting too lazy to learn how to spell properly and they're constantly texting.

Full - there's no point in text writing once you've learned to type at a decent speed, it doesn't exactly save you time and makes you look stupid. If you've had a computer for more than a year but you're still using text writing, there's no point. The only time I use text writing is if I need to say "brb" because I need to go or if I am eating.

I don't understand the question. It is all text, it is a question on how you format the document.
I usually write it in WordPerfect, and save it in Rich Text Format (.RTF) for transport.
I hate Word. I freaking hate it. It keeps putting things where I did not ask it to.
Was that what you were asking, or was it something else?
----------
Ah, you were talking text messaging were you not?
Um, no, thanks.
Things are moving right along there. Honestly. You will soon be able to type the message without doing the thumbs thingie.
They keyboards already exist. Or they don't depending on how you look at it.
Really. You put a little device on a phone that projects a keyboard on a flat surface. I am not making this up.
Then you can type on a non existant full sized keyboard.
Really. See link.

Writing in full has the advantage that the vast majority of readers will be able to understand your meaning. Whilst text abbreviations can be handy when sending a short message, because letters are missed out it is very easy to misinterpret the meaning of a longer sentance.

Definitely in full. Text writing is a lazy habit, and only contributes to the illiteracy in this country, with grammar and spelling going out of the window.

In full is better in normal writing or email or whatever, but if you are texting text writing is better cos you can only send so many letters per page and it you have 2 pages it costs more.

I dont mind either but I prefer reading full writing as sometimes im unaware of what certain shortened words are. I used to think lol was lots of love til someone told me recently it was laugh out loud.
