Not much at all... Salsa is usually taught in fairly big groups, especially for beginners. You can try Bar Salsa on Charing Cross Road (Friday nights) for about £6, though the drinks are expensive. Ronnie Scott's used to have a latin jazz night, I think they've started up again now, and there are a few places around Leicester Square that are worth looking up, like Bar Rumba. There are a lot of cheaper, smaller, more friendly places on the outskirts of London too, depending on where you can get to. Try www.salsajive.co.uk (a fairly comprehensive guide to what's on and when).

You can take individual lessons, but these will set you back abot £20 and the group lessons can be just as useful.

Hope you start salsaing... Enjoy!

In general, salsa lessons cost about the same anywhere you go.
In the U.S., a group lesson would cost between $10 to $12 for an hour. A private lesson would cost anywhere from $50 to $100 for an hour.

If you want to go the cheap route, you can usually take free lessons at the salsa clubs. The dance instructors love to teach classes at the beginning of each dance so that they can recruit more dancers for their studio.

In short, the cost of a group salsa lesson can cost as much as a cheap lunch.

Salsa lessons can be quite cheap as they are quite popular. Round my way (East London) they cost between £5-£10 an hour, and there is Bar Salsa near Charing Cross which gives lessons and then you can go there and practice too

why would you want to do irish dancing lessons? unless you're planning on appearing in the new lucky charm's commercial, i really don't see the use to them.
