No, just people from all over different parts in different countries come and claim land here and there and use it for scientific study, or even tourism like snowboarding and skiing.

Technically no, there was an agreement drawn up saying that no country will establish territoryy on Antarctica. However, there are countries claiming territor on Antarctica, but there is no permanent population, just a handful of research stations.

No!!,only part of the world uninhibited by man there are snow and Glaciers too cold except for occasional scientist, Impossible to live in. It is being claimed by the British. They like to have every Island.
