This charge was totally false- bitter custody battle - and since our divorce, she's on husband number 4, and only 29 years old! I am a nurse- and this background check is time consuming and embarrasing when an ASSAULT ON A WOMAN appears. Absolute truth- I have never struck another human- not even another guy- as Woody Allen is more my forte than Arnold Swartzneger - Ideas anyone? I have been told an appeal must be filed through the Texas governors office- hopefully Kinky will win-

there shouldn't be a charge on your record, only a conviction. Were you convicted/plaed guilty, etc..? How did you get convicted? Would there be reason for a mistrial? If you did it, or were found guilty of it, you're screwed. But, you should have a lawyer check out the case, and give you an opinion. FYI, my friend had a case following from when he was a juvenile. He's now 30, and it shows up on every background check. He thinks there's no way out of it, since they don't expunge a minor's files

Have a lawyer look into it for you, the cost to clear your name will be worth it!
