Sounds like our General Manager here where I work. We are all underpaid, except for him and this one lady who he is friend with. Not fair at all. Anyway, like I tell the guys here, just do your job... you can only do what you can do.... and if it is that bad, you can always look for a new job.
Hang in there... you are not alone, trust me.

Thats the price of working a JOB.
It took me years to figure out the name of the game is "passive income".
I played monopoly for years and still didnt put the puzzle together. Got my Degree and jumped from Tech job to Tech job getting a little bit more money each time thinking I was doing it "right"
It was only after a third layoff that the light came on.
Now I Raise A rare breed of puppies and sell them 800 bucks each. I have a total of 12 being advertised right now. They usually sell within 2 weeks, during holidays 2 days.
Work Part-Time at night, 3 days a week and have an online affiliate business that is turning a profit. Flexibility is the key.
Im planning on rehabbing a home or two in the next few months.
Much easier than working fulltime under some jerk.

some people, whether a boss or something else, like to pick someone to be a jerk to and unfortionatelly, that's you....maybe he knows that he can get away w/ it w/ you...in this situation things will build up until you can't handle it any longer...you will either explode or get very emotionally upset....before this happens you need to ask him if you've ever done anything to get such treatment....maybe after having a talk he'll straighten up ..if not...keep your eyes open for a new job....Good Luck!

I would look for work else where. If you are unhappy with your boss. It will eventually start to show up in your work and home life. There is nothing harder than getting out of bed and going to work at a job you don't like for whatever the reason.

Team congratulations are part of modern management technique. He was taught to do that. If he doesn't chat you up, he may find your self-important "credit is due me" attitude to be off-putting.
Try whining less. You'll do better and he will treat you more like a member of the team.

I suggest you have this talk with him, moods or not. Ask him if there is a problem, and if so, what is it. Your work atmosphere, as you describe it, doesn't sound too good. IF you have this talk, be prepared to look for employment elsewhere if you do not get the answers you are looking for. But, be prepared to accept honesty on his part also.

Because he has the power and you don't.
Because he CAN.
Because he wants you to leave, but if he fires you he'll have to pay the unemployment insurance, so he wants you to resign.
Because you remind him of someone else he loves and lost or hates.
Because his pen!s is too small.
It makes no difference WHY. You should either move on, or just be yourself and be there for him no matter what.

Sounds like that is his management style. If you're getting paid well and you like your job, why do you care that your boss ignores you. Better that than a boss who is constantly looking over shoulder.

well your boss probably comes from a very unappreciative family so he takes it out on u and if ur work is very helpful and sufficient and he doesnt appreicate it, then he is maybe having problems in his every day life, so dont feel unappreciated, just ask him why he always takes his anger out on you when your work is just fine so just dont worry he might feel that your work is very veyr good later on, if u work your tail off and he doesnt appreciate it, then just simply ask if you are doing wrong and then try to fix it and see if his unappreciation changes later on

He's got a thing for you and is afraid to show his true emotions. It's like the way kids are when they have a crush in junior high school.
