Eeek! NO! jeans are ok under tunics, but not dresses. This is where a lot of people miss the mark and think they're being stylish but only end up creating a faux pau.

Evidently, it is a hot trend to wear capris of almost any length under dresses or skirts. The Today show hosted In Style Magazine's Style Editor who brought several models in sporting different looks for office, leisure and evening. I think it would be a little hot to do it during the summer months, but I think it would be great during the cool autumn and winter months.

I think it looks rather silly... like you have tried the dress on in the store, and were too lazy to take your jeans off... and decided to go outside that way. If you have pants on, why do you need a dress? If you have a dress on, why do you need pants?
just ends up being more laundry to do anyhow.

As long as the dress material is light and sheer and does not go below the knees.
Heels are a must with this type of outfit. It will elongate your legs so they don't look buried underneath the dress and jeans.

i think it depends on the dress and the type of pants.
for example, i have this cute brown dress with spaghetti straps, the fabric is really light and you can kinda see through it. i think it looks silly by itself so i wear it over jeans and i've gotten so many compliments when i wear it like that.

Yes, but be sure that you don't look to dumpy with that many clothes on!! Get a second opinion from someone that you trust to tell you the truth yet fashionable enough to UNDERSTAND the outfit. Also, accesorize with 2 or 3 necklaces and braclets (on one arm). If you are short then be sure to wear heels too.
Good Luck!!

shoes and scaves. in case you have on a trouble-free shirt, you additionally could make it look completely clean and new by utilising putting a headscarf over it. And lots of shops have rocker and image tees that are particularly low value, yet no longer completely bland. Cool earings, belts and luggage can replace up a verify out each time! i admire upload-ons, and so as quickly as I even have particularly ornate ones, i like to positioned on a trouble-free shirt, so the attention is going to the accesories. solid success!
