Isn't it about time everyone, (especially the press) start supporting England instead of critising them every game. This is our best start to a WC for ages. Look at Brazil, they aren't playing their best yet. What do you think?

i totaly agree. Brazil is playing horibble and so is there famed player (ronaldo), but there not getting any heat. Thats because they won last years world cup and 4 more (5 total, most in world cup history). England however is known for futbol and is one of the most famed futbol clubs in the world with EPL and Beckham and there excpected to win but every year they fail. Thats why the media is dissin England because of there starpower and there continues record to not win a world cup. I am a HUGE ENGLAND FAN but I see where the media is coming from. Do I think its wrong??? of course I do!!! ENGLAND 4 LIFE!!

C'mon, you should know better. Every fan has a right to criticize, and you know they're gonna do it. Most sports fans are extremely fickle. One minute they're totally supportive and behind you, the next, they're lambasting you. I'm an ardent English supporter, hell, I've got the soccer crest tattooed on me, but when the team doesn't do as well as we know they should, then we voice our frustrations. Besides, that's how fans have always been, harsh when their team doesn't perform well, and joyous when they do. The point is, a true diehard fan will always support their team, even when they're criticizing them for their sub-par performance. Btw, Brazil has been criticized as having played poor thus far too.

I truely think 2006 is our time. England can win, we havent started great, we just lack alittle bit of sharpness which will come in the next game. We now have the best team that we have ever had, our squad is the strongest out of all the teams in the WC.

Plus we always always raise our game against better teams. There is not one team out there that we can not beat.

COME ON ENGLAND

No. it's not about time everyone started supporting england. Don't we live in a country of free will and free speech. Us Scots have been threatened with charges of racism if we don't support you eejits. I'd like to see you all rot in jail for all the racist comments I've heard against us.

Your team's crap. Accept it. Ya boo sucks!!!!

Get behind!
But criticism by the media (especially) is good too.
It makes the team wanna develop and kinda know what most of the fans think
