How about renting a suite or a room at a very nice hotel and have a pool party. Stay up all night playing your favorite games and listening to your favorite movie. For my daughter, I brought them frozen drinks to the pool (no alcohol) trimmed with fruit. I waited on them hand and foot. At the end of the days, the boys left and the girls and I painted toes and nails and put on makeup. They even had a dance contest. The next morning, I took them to breakfast and a movie. Then we went to Claire's boutique and I bought them a few parting gifts.

Happy Birthday and I truly hope you have many more.

For Your Fun Girlie Girl:
Depending on the weather where you are water balloons and squirt guns generally make a birthday memorable especially surprise parties. Add in a delicious cake with so much sugar in it that it defies common sense

For Your popular princess who thinks she's turning 21:
DJ, pizza, semi sweet cake, mid afternoon late night party, the minimal amount of parental supervision (the cool uncle or aunt maybe) and the run of the house for 1night

Pretend it's Halloween. Scatter some scary spiders and bats around the house and outside the door. Maybe even some fake spider webs.

Get a store pizza, and when you cook it, add some strange ingredients(green olives, nuts, gummy bears etc.).

Keep the lights low and play scary music all the time.

Then after everyone's eaten, sit around and tell the scarriest thing that's ever happened to each of you. Then show a scary movie. No one will forget this night!

wtf? your name does not resemble that of a hoe, and omg.. why are most of the answers on these questions so freaking stupid!!! gotta weed through all the b.s. to get to something worth reading. ugh.

Have it at your house. Have a BBQ. Do stupid stuff.. it's just too much fun! pinata, pin tail donkey, peanut race, sack race, yada yada yada. Or BBQ at a park, volleyball, badmitton, soccer. etc. I myself always liked the small close little parties.. that way people didn't show that I didn't really care to be there.. they somehow seem to invite themselves or something. Birthdays ere special fun days for me.

The BDay that I remember the most, however, is when my father let the kids come to the fire station. We all ate there.. went down the fire poles, did fun games and even got to go for a ride on the fire engine. I bet every one of those kids remembers that day - to this day. :)

American Idol karaoke party. You can rent a machine if you don't have one. I did one for my daughter. They dressed up all glamorous. We did singing and stuff, then I gave out a burned CD of all of her favorite songs (which I purchased from the computer) It was fun and the kids loved the CD's. On the cover of the CD's I put a picture of her with so-and-so's 13th birthday blast.

go to bithday (gender)'s favorite place to eat that is cheap. like a pizza place,

shopping, give them money and allow them buy whatever (even the friends for their birthday buddy), while the adult (or "the ride") while get a giant cookie or something like that from their previously ordered cookie place. go home, and have some fun!

sleep-over, go out to see a movie, bithday person will not pay for anything, it will be their pick, no matter what. then if the movie cinema has an arcade, go there for about an hour, then go home, get lots of cake, have some games ready (not board games, or anything from our 3rd bithdays)like mafia, and allow them to stay up, and watch movies all night long

Have you thought about inviting just a few close friends and getting your nails done or a spa treatment together? Or look up some recipes for spa treatments on the internet and have a spa party at home.
