Why are your parents allowing you to have a 4 year relationship from the age of 12. you should be studying and concerned about getting through high school and college.

I am quite concerned about parents that do not take the parental authority and keep 12 year olds from dating. School should be the only thing on your mind at 12.

What are your plans after this so call marriage. You don't even know where the court house is in your own city and you have been staying there for 16 years. Proof enough that you missed portions of history in your classroom had you been there.

I also worry about young children getting married at an early age because normally they wind up with me and other tax payers paying for children that are left fatherless as he does not pay child support. You will not have an education so your prospects of getting a job that pays well is not a possiblity. You will join the other that are at Wal-Mart with no chance for promition or moving into any management position.

Your parents should be arrested for child abuse, allowing a 12 year old to date. Are you having sex with this guy and how old is he?

Be smart finish high school, go to college, allow yourself to grow, inspite of your parents. They are the ones that are holding you back. Be the first one to graduate from college in your family, so your children will grow up with ambition and desire to be a member or society and not a burden on society as you will surely be.

I hope this has been of some use to you, good luck.

"FIGHT ON"

I don't buy it. Sorry, you are a lousy lier.

If you are underage, like in New York, you can only get married at 16 by having parental consent -- meaning, your folks would have to be present and sign off on a legal document at the courthouse before the civil ceremony.

Maybe you should check by state for the age limits and try your luck crossing states to get married. IF your parents consent to your running off, because if not, then they can get in trouble too and your man, who I suspect is well over 16, can go to jail for statutory rape and kidnapping and for the ruin of a minor, whether you "consented" or not won't matter.

Stay in school, get an education and make something of yourself. The boys and the men will always be there -- and they come and go. An education and diploma is forever and no one can take that from you.

You've been with a boy since you were 12 years old??? You first off, are way to young to even start dating at 12..and now at 16 he is the only one you've been with. It may seen all great right now..but once you both grow up you will realize how y'all short changed yourselves..DO NOT MARRY this boy...ya both are too young....And why would your parents want to marry you off? Do they not want to take care of you anymore? And if that's the case your parents need a wake up call...All I can say is when I was 16 and *in love* it was NOTHING compared to the true love I now find myself in...Take it from me..you will be a completely different person in 10 years..

If your parents are willing you can get married in almost any court house. You are to young you should wait until your in your 20's whats the hurry? I think the reason you posted your question is you really don't want to get married .If you want to go back home tell Mom and Dad and then ask them why did they let a little 12 year old play house.Go home be a kid!

you should look into slowing your role. at 12 i was graduating from training bras and playing with dolls that is too young to have a man. how old is this alleged man? you need to wait until you finish school enjoy college life and your teenage years once time has lapsed you do not get it back besides all that the statistics are against you. if this guy is older than you by more than 2 years that is statutory rape and he needs to go to jail and you parents should be under the jail for condoning this relationship. Sorry boo but this is upsetting

What kind of parents would want their 16 yr. old to marry???
and why have you been permitted to have a 4 yr long relationship with anyone?? You are way too young, you won't think so now, but you will when you look back at all you've missed I think it's sad that your parents are willing to let you miss the best years of your life, and would rather you become another statistic.

You dont need to get married if your under 18. The age is set for a reason, so you can be old enough to make a wise decision, I dont care how mature you are for your age. Look how many 18 year olds mess up their lives by doing it legally. If its important you will wait and share the joyous ocassion with family and friends and respect each other enough to do it legally.

Every County has a Court House. Figure out what County you live in and either look in the phone book or go on-line type in your County and put either Summit County Court House, or Ravenna County Court House and so forth.

Wait till your 18 and then go and get married. If you are over 18 then try your local court house/ justice of the peace. I live in Missouri and young girls want to get married young they go to Arkansas. But then they regret it later they wished they would of waited. No rush to get married take your time to grow up.
