i want to know the best way to save music files from itunes, so that if my computer crashes i can just put them back on. would all the files fit on a usb jump drive or some kind of disk? i have 3.5 gb of songs.

Phwew. 3.5 gigs... Well, you could pick up a pair of jump drives, or one high capacity one. Or you could borrow a friend's Yahoo mail account/make another, and mail all the songs as attachments to yourself, 1.75 gigs worth to each address. Save some cash, but it would be time consuming.

3.5 Gb is probably too much for an USB flash drive. Try to borrow a DVD writer somewhere and write them to a DVD.
