How do you wear white boots in the winter? (Or should I even dare?)?

If you like it, and it's practical, go ahead! Who cares if someone else doesn't want their boots matching the snow or whatever the heck is going on. It's your taste and your feet. You shouldn't worry so much about looking good for the sake of fashion rules. Ever opened up an issue of teen vogue? Some of their stuff can be different and okay but there's plenty of ensembles in that magazine that make NO SENSE at all. But they still do it. They don't care. But I still have yet to see a person wearing that stuff . .

Anyway, go ahead. I checked the shoes out and they are cute. You can always return them to zappos if something is wrong . .

You already know that I think your Lacoste boots are fly, but it's over 100 degrees where I live and you cannot rock boots in 100 degrees. Now in the evening it's OK, but not in 100 degree weather. If I were you I would save them for the cooler weather. You have so many other fly shoes that you can wear during the summer months I would save these and sport these when it is cooler!!! You asked for honesty and I give you honesty!!!

Well, *I* wouldn't, but that's only because I DID wear them when they were originally in fashion in 1967 (snicker). Therefore, to me, these boots look dated; if you don't remember the 60s, then I suppose they would look Retro...or even entirely fresh and new.

It's largely a matter of your perspective; wear the boots, by all means, if you like them. But remember, there will be some old fossils (like me!) who will see the boots, recognize them as a really old style, and think you are out of step with modern fashion!
