ONLY ANSWER IF YOU HAVE TRIED IT OR KNOW SOMEONE WHO HAS TOLD YOU OF THEIR EXPERIENCE!! My kids want to get games and I would like to rent DVDs. I know of netflix, but surely there has to be others. How much do they cost and how does it work? i.e. is the service reliable, do you get the DVDs quickly, how long can you keep the movies/games, who pays for the shipping, how much is it monthly? Is there a company in which you can get games *AND* DVDs? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know about games, but for a purely movie site, go to movielink.com. It is great. They have not only older pics (even classics like Psycho or Casablanca) but up-to-date new releases. You just download them to your computer, and in 30 days they are automatically erased, so you dont have to worry about returning them. You can either purchases the movie and burn it to a dvd and keep forever, or just rent for 30 days. Also, every week they have great savings on different movies. Most movie rent for less than 5.00, with most of the costing between 2.50 and 4.00. They are great quality, espically since they are downloaded. I am in college, so I get a college discount, but others are eligible for discounts, too. They dont have games avaiable, but for movie, they are the site I would definitely go with.

I love netflix, especially if you have a family or roommates, you can set up profiles for various house members and assign how many movies each person gets and they have their own cue.
gamefly is great for games, I have many friends who use it and rave about it.

We have netfilx and we love it! I think Blockbuster might have one.
