Turn off the porch light that is attracting the moths and they won't hang out at the entryway. If you can put a light somewhere away from the front door that'll draw the moths away to another area so you can use the door without inviting in the unwanted guests. Bat houses are a good idea too so they won't move into yours.

HOW DO I KEEP A BAT FROM ROOSTING UNDER THE OVERHANG OF MY PORCH? Occasionally, a single bat or two will take up temporary residence under the eave of a porch. These bats are not trying to attack people, they are simply in need of a short-term roost (for more information see Myths and Facts). If left alone, the bat will probably leave on its own when the weather turns cooler. However, some people have found success in getting a bat to leave by suspending aluminum foil or helium-filled Mylar balloons close to the roosting spot. These items may interfere with a bats echolocation abilities and help to dissuade it from roosting in that location.

They make these bat houses you can construct or buy and hang them near your home in a tree, that should help. It's good to have bats around they eat lots of insects.

Bat houses which can be purchase are a good idea but dont move them too far from where they are now. Please !!!! Dont kill the bats. Bats are incredible insect eaters and very few bats (relatively speeking) put you at risk of disease. If nessecary call you local animal controll and they can put you in touch with someone who will help you with relocation.

Maybe try putting up a bat box (you can buy one online-Wooden with holes in it) and once they start using it, just keep moving it further away from your house.
