There is a way. You can configure your mail client to request a "read receipt". But then it is upto the other person to send you the read receipt. If the other person chooses not to send you one you will never get it. I don't think it is available on the browser version of mails. UE, MSOutlook & others have this feature.

Yes, you can. If all your email sent to someone are being saved in the sent folder, then you can forward the same to anyone (as attachment) to prove the particular email was forwarded by you at first place. the attachment shows the email ID's of from & to in the header along with the time & date of forwarding.

Only if the email provider offers that feature. For instants, Yahoo! does not give the option to check status of sent mail. But AOL does. Checking sent mail give you the option to see if it has been read or deleted.

You can sometimes send an email with Return Receipt checked. It will allow you to see if it's read. But you can't see if it's forwarded.

Some email systems ( AOL used to; i don't know if it still does) will send you a msg when the receiver opens the mail.

check your send box. on mine if I sent a e-mail off it will go to the folder
and to the send box.

actually you can see if they have read it if you use an email program that uses "read receipts". i have never used this myself. i just saw it in here one day.
